I snatched this fandom meme from [personal profile] princessofgeeks ...

And a Happy lovely wonderful 2016 to one and all!

1. Your main fandom of the year?

Always and forever (at least from today's POV) SG-1. It's the fandom I write in, the fandom I read in, the fandom I do art for etc. It's my comfort zone and my sanctuary still even though I'm not nearly as active as I used to be. However, I have a strong love for Saving Hope and the BBC Musketeers - both are shows I adore.

2. Your favourite film watched this year?

Not watched anything THIS year yet. But in 2015 we watched a Matt Damon movie at the theater "The Martian" and have to say it was awesome.

3. Your favourite book read this year?

In 2015 I read The Black Hawk by Joanna Bourne. Though... I'm not sure now if that wasn't actually 2014 when I read it for the first time, but I re-read it in 2015 and I love love love that book. I also read Stephen Kings "Mr Mercedes" which was also GREAT. I love King - he's one of the few authors I collect books from.

4. Your favourite TV show of the year?

The BBC Musketeer and Saving Hope

5. Your favourite online fandom community of the year?

[community profile] jd_ficathon, and my peeps on DW. But also the LD List which is the only Yahoo group I'm still posting too and I'm hanging on to it because it was my first net-family and is my home for so many years now. It's quiet, but it's still active and there is still chatter and we still have times of stories being posted and I'm proud of that.

6. Your best new fandom discovery of the year?

The BBC Musketeer

7. Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?

I don't really have a fandom disappointment of the year. I'm sad that they won't do more seasons of TM, but at least we'll get a third season this year before it'll be over.

8. Your TV boyfriend of the year?

Jack and Daniel
Athos

9. Your TV girlfriend of the year?

I have to admit, my main focus always lies with the guys and rarely with the girls in any fandom. But I love Carter and I love Constance and Queen Anne (TM). And Maggie (SH)

10. Your biggest squee moment of the year?

I got lovely lovely SG-1 related things for Christmas / my b-day this year. And I got to see RDA this year (and was hugged too) And I was gifted with both TM seasons on DVD this year too!

11. The most missed of your old fandoms?

I miss the big activity in SG-1 (J/D and LD wise), the presence of Stargate in general. Even at conventions you can see how the merchandise for SG-1 gets less and less. I miss some of my LD buddies who have left without a trace and some who were/are also my personal friends, but don't seem to really care anymore and the connection gets lost there. Which makes me feel even more grateful for those few friends who keep sticking around.

12. The fandom you haven’t tried yet, but want to?

No clue. I usually can't handle more than one or two (three at the most) fandoms at once. There are shows I love and watch, but have no energy/time/intention to read or write in or even check online stuff.

13. Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?

So far there is none. I would have loved to go to Vancouver, but that's not gonna happen. I hope to read more and write more this year than I did last year, that's about it :)
